Hi,
thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
What do you mean with this? What exactly is not possible?
You will likely not see the output of the table in the Customizer, but only when viewing the page in the frontend. That’s currently a result of how TablePress loads the Shortcodes. I’m already investigating ways to change that.

Hello Tobias.
Thanks for the fast reply.
As i tried to insert a table in my Mesmerize Theme with the editor Customizer is saw i cannot write code elements in a page.
But what i tried is to insert a shortcode over the plugin Shortcoder.
But this was not function because the shortcoder awaiting [shortcode=xxx].
As i tried to insert this i get a empty output in the editor and in the page view.
I tried this with a snippet too but the snippet plugin awaits <php…
I don’t know what i should try.
Rob
Hi,
all this sounds strange to me. It’s the first time I hear that content is edited or added via the Customizer. Don’t you normally only change the style with that?
Can you try adding the Shortcode to the page content with the normal page editor?

Tobias
Hi.
I’m thinking is a problem of the Theme or of Customizer.
I wrote this into the support forum of both.
Tables over TablePress should be ok in normal editor pages. Im shure.
So i cannot use TablePress for this.
Kind regards
Rob
Hi,
can you maybe post a screenshot (e.g. via https://imgur.com/) of what you are seeing?
This is the first time that I hear someone wanting to edit content via the Customizer, which is why I’m maybe confused…

I have the same problem. I can add the shortcode to the front page in the customizer, save and it shows up.
However when I then edit anything else on the front page, where it shows as you are editing as soon as you save, the shortcode disappears and I have go to edit again, enter it again and save again.
This is not a problem if I edit via the code view route, however the other users are not able to do that and therefore use the customizer to edit the front page.
I do not think this is a TablePress problem as much as it is a one of the mesmerize customizer.
It is also only a problem with the front page if editing with the customizer. It works as it should on all others.
Hi,
this is indeed an issue with your theme, which seems to be removing Shortcodes when using this frontend editing. Unfortunately, there’s nothing that I can do about this in TablePress, sorry.

Tobias
