TablePress item missing from side menu

I am another one of those people who lost the TablePress item from my admin menu. I have tried what was suggested in the following forum pages:

I tried searching the forum and editing my options.php file, but there was no entry in it for TablePress. I then installed the Members plugin and restored all of the TablePress capabilities for my admin account, but still no luck.

I have some plugins that may be interfering with TablePress, but I am hesitant to remove them since everything is working well on my site otherwise. I simply cannot see the TablePress entry in the menu even though I have used the plugin and have active tables on my site. Any suggestions?
