Yes, the number of tables could play a role here. This could indicate that maybe the PHP memory limit is reached. You could maybe try increasing the value of the WP_MEMORY_LIMIT constant in the site’s wp-config.php file, via the instructions from https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/article/editing-wp-config-php/#increasing-memory-allocated-to-php

wir haben deine Empfehlung gemacht, das hat paar Wochen gehalten
jetzt Funktioniert nicht mehr aber bei uns wurde nicht geändert auch die Tabellen sind nicht große geworden wir haben nur der Plugin Upgedatet ist da ein Störung der bekannt gibt es ein andere losung kannst du da hilfen

there were no changes to the Extension or in TablePress itself that would affect this. Therefore, this must have its origins in the server configuration or something else that changed on the site.
I recommend to check the server error log files to maybe find out more. I don’t have other ideas here, sorry.
