Tablet and mobile versions missing header

Hello,
I am developing my website with the Astra theme (organic store) and have installed Elementor as a plugin for editing.
When I go through ‘customise’ to edit the header and footer of my website, the header disappears in the tablet and mobile mode. I am left with an empty white space where the header is supposed to be.
How do I fix this issue?
My second issue is also with the tablet and mobile modes. In these modes I am left with endless white space underneath the footer. It is not an element that I could edit or delete anywhere. How can I remove this empty space?
