I have chosen Vertical tab style 2 with -3-4 tabs and once the 2nd or the 3rd tab is opened i can not return to the 1st.
the screen seems to move up by fex pixels, but nothing happens

Glad you were able to resolve the issue. A single JS error from any of the plugin or the theme can make many other widgets to not function right.
