• Great simple theme, just the starting point for a project I am working on! I setup a Test Site to see if I could get what I need from the theme.

    A couple issues:

I am seeing the same issue alanaseldon mentioned about the horizontal scrolling moving content onto the menu. I have to stretch the browser window to nearly 1200 pixels wide to make the horizontal scroll bar go away!

Is there a min-height for the content area? I created test pages with one line and it stretches a long way to the footer.

How do I remove the “Subscribe to the RSS Feed” from the navigation? I got rid of the Archives & Categories by placing an empty text box in the main sidebar.

How do I remove the vertical line dividing the menu from the content?

Did you test the theme for mobiles and tablets?

  • Most of your questions can be answered by using Firebug and CSS modifications (yes there is a set minimum height but you could change the CSS code on it, you can “hide” the RSS feed section in the CSS code using “display: none;”, you can remove the vertical line in the CSS, the width is set to 1000px hence the horizontal issue…)

    Hi lakerslex,

I am having the same issue with horizontal scrolling moving over the menu in my theme here:

    Site

If you resize the page, the logo and picture move but the menu bar stays where it is. Can I just fix everything where it is? The menu bar is done using the plugin optiontree.

Did you find a way to resolve this? My theme ‘mono’, is a grid based system so not sure if that makes a difference.

On mobiles you have to zoom out on each page just to see everything!

    Cheers
    Rob
