Tag {page_title} doesn’t work

Hello!
I’ve tried to insert the tag {page_title} in my notification email, on every form in my site, but it does not work. The field is always empty.
Why?

Hi @ericaborto,

When you get the chance, could you check that the WPForms Lite plugin is updated to its latest version (currently 1.6.0.2)?

And if the plugin has already been updated, could you share a screenshot of your notification settings?

Hi Ethan!
I’ve update the plugin at the last versione 1.6.0.2 (I had 1.6.0.1) but there is the problem yet.

Thanks for the details!

It looks like the {page_title} Smart Tag does not work as expected when AJAX form submissions is enabled in the form builder’s General settings.

I’ve reported the issue to our team so we can look into it. In the meantime, you could consider disabling AJAX form submissions to receive page title information through the {page_title} Smart Tag. I apologize for the trouble with this!

Any update on this? I have site I’d like to use AJAX on but for now am forcing the full page refresh so the page title comes through.

Our team has been working on the compatibility issue between page title Smart Tag and AJAX form submission. However, I apologize we don’t have an exact ETA for the fix yet.
