Tag RSS feed item

Hi

Does anyone know if there’s a way to tag individual imported RSS items (e.g., in the same way that you can do with FeedDemon)?

I’m importing several news feeds, and displaying them on my site (currently in development). I want to be able to tag specific stories in the feeds, in order to generate feeds from the tags.

For example, I’d like to be able to create a “sport” tag, then tag relevant news items with it. That would in turn create a “sport” feed, enabling me to display on a page of my site all feed items, from various feeds, that had been tagged with “sport”.

Is this possible?
