Tags are not valid

    Hi,

    I’m having troubles with the hreflang tags, the plugin tells me that the tags are not valid. I’ve included a self-reference tag and the tag to the alternative page, made for UK visitors.

    I used a few validators to gain some insight, but couldn’t figure out much from “Default language tag not existing (en)” and “Language-region code has no standalone language code”. I did set the HTML Tag Language so am confused at what is happening.

    Could you provide any help?
