    Google recommends placing the ad code between the tags:

    <head>
</head>

    Should I do this with WPQuads?

    I don’t know why all this!
    The question is simple; Do I need to put any ad or code between these two or not?

    Just so you know, I’m placing responsive ads, and I can’t do that in the free version.

    Hi, Suppose you want to manually add the AdSense activation code into the header of your website then you have to open your WordPress theme template files header.php and then copy the AdSense activation code directly just between <head></head>.
