Tags link under Posts missing when using custom admin menu

    When using a custom admin menu, the Tags link under Posts does not show. I tried setting to a specific user that has Editor privileges and also setting to Editor role. Once the custom menu is removed the link shows up again. The Posts section in the custom menu is untouched.

    PHP Version: 8.2.18
    WordPress Version: 6.8.2
    Plugin Version: 7.39
    Current Theme: Blocksy Child

    Hi @nj450n,

    I can repeat this on my end. It will take me some time to troubleshoot this properly, but in the mean time, what I would recommend is just creating a custom menu item called tags and have it point to the tags page and this will work. So you will have Tags twice in the menu on the edit menu page, but on the actual menu the editor sees it will just show once.

    Any headway on this? I’m having the same issue with missing Tags.

    Hi @zoinks,

    I still recommend the workaround solution mentioned in my previous comment for now. Unfortunately my resources have been stretched the last few months so I haven’t had the time I would like to work on the free plugin. Thanks,
