We have a client site that would like to enable Instant Articles for their stories. Photo galleries feature prominently in most of their content, but because Instant Articles doesn’t support display of those, we’re attempting to add text such as “This post has a photo gallery. Tap to view.” where necessary. The idea is the text would link out to the same story, but in the devices’ browser vs. the FB app Instant Articles view.

We thought including target=”_blank” would enable that, but we’ve found it’s stripped out of the RSS feed. Is it possible to include that or does Facebook not allow it? I can’t find anything one way or the other.
