Never mind this post!
I got the logic… .
Said in simple words: CollabPress follows a two-level deep logic. You create a project, a task-list and then get to task. Only TASK is assignable and datable (neither task-lists, nor projects are).
Thanks for clearing that up arshiacont!
This may be a stupid question but I don’t see it.
So where do you assign the Tasks?
Sorry, I don’t understand the logic of CollabPress and can’t find the option to assign a task. Please advise.
I would search CollabPress on Youtube, I believe there’s a walkthrough somewhere on there.
The user interface will be getting an overhaul in 1.3, sorry some of you are having issues.
Eric, that’s fantastic news about the new UI.
I was just composing a CP support thread about the recent interest in WP Project Manager (largely due to its BaseCamp-like GUI) and then I saw this post.
FWIW, Syrehn has posted a well thought-out comparison of the two plug-ins part-way down this thread.
Any idea when version 1.3 will be released? I’d be happy to do some beta testing… 🙂
You should see a beta within a month. I’d suggest keeping tabs on our development blog, we’ll be posting screenshots and soliciting user feedback in the next week on the UI changes.
