have referred your case to our engineers and confirmed that you cannot connect to http:// on port 443. You need to use https://. You seem to have a plugin trying to connect in a way that our platform does not allow. Please modify the cURL request to https://www.muccispores.co.uk instead of http://www.muccispores.co.uk:443.

Our bridge server only accepts secure connections over HTTPS, so the command should be: curl https://bridge.mailpoet.com
I don’t think anything needs to be changed on our end.
I see that your cron URL is returning the following error message instead of “pong”.
cURL error 7: Failed connect to www.muccispores.co.uk:443; Connection refused
That’s what is preventing the newsletters from being sent. This error mainly occurs when there’s a firewall blocking the curl request.
Could you please send this error to your hosting provider and ask them if cURL is enabled or not?

What kind of cURL version to need?
The php-curl PHP extension for your current PHP version should be activated.
However, I see that based on the link you sent that it seems to be enabled.
Also, I’m no longer seeing the cURL 7 error when accessing your Cron URL. Now it’s returning Pong (which is what’s expected).
Were you able to sort it? Please let me know if you are still experiencing any issues.
