Hi, just a heads-up in case you get other reports as well. It’s probably an error by woocommerce.

I have been having some problems recently with incorrect tax calculations. This didn’t happen before in the year I’ve been running LiteSpeed.

It started about two weeks ago, when sometimes it wouldn’t add tax to shipping costs. I fixed that by cleaning all LiteSpeed caches.

Last night there was a forced woocommerce update ( https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/the-plugin-was-updated-automatically-why/ ), after which it started to add taxes to products where the prices are already including taxes, so it taxed double. Again fixed by a LiteSpeed cache purge. My guess is that forced update didn’t trigger a cache update.

It seems people using other caching solutions experienced similar problems with taxes (unrelated to that forced woo update):

So it appears something (undocumented?) changed in Woocommerce causing problems with caching plugins and tax settings. Probably something needs to be excluded from caching, or is not purged after updates.

from our side , I can only think of 1) cache REST API , and 2) object cache , that may interact with tax calc

could you please try with these 2 disabled ?
