Tax names problem

Just to confirm this is happening on the page the client sees after completing an order, correct?

I checked on my website and I was able to replicate this.

If the percentage sign is before the number, it removed it.

On my site, if I use the percentage sign after the number it shows correctly.

While we investigate this, is it possible for you to use the percentage sign after the number so it doesn’t remove it? You can also add a space between the % and the number and it should work.

Yes, I can use the % at the end without problem but in Basque language is expressed before, that’s why I found out. And yes, it happens once completed the order in the thanks page, not during in the cart or checkout page. Also happens creating the orders in admin area.

One more thing, using Polylang Pro and Polylang Woocommerce for translating the shop site, I believe that when changing the order status from processing to complete, the translations that were functioning well, Woocommerce takes the tax name directly from tax settings without using the translations. It could be due to the same issue.

Thanks for clarifying. As I understand the translations are working on the frontend, but not on the backend, correct?

Please note that Polylang is a third-party plugin, so we are not able to assist with it. To get help for it, you can contact them on their support forum or directly if they offer this option.

Having said that, Polylang is a plugin to help you have a multilingual site. As I mentioned, we do not provide support for it, but it seems the plugin is not set to translate your website’s backend. But they will be able to clarify that for you.

From your screenshots it seems the website’s backend is set to English, correct? If you want to change it, you can go to yourwebsite/wp-admin/profile and change the language there. Don’t forget to save the changes.
