    Hello.

I created several custom taxonomies with your plugin (thanks).
Most of them (Action Theme, Entity type, Country) years ago (the project is old). But every year we have to make some changes, and I created a new taxonomy now.

Those taxonomies are used only with one specific Custom Post type (Actions).

For the last taxonomy I created (Action Dates) I can see the filter in All Actions list page (backend).
One of the improvements we would like to add is the possibility to sort Actions (from backend’s action list page).
I tried to figure out if some taxonomy settings were different but couldn’t find how to make old taxonomy to show the filter in admin’s Actions list page.

Is it something I can easily achieve updating taxonomy settings from the plugin or not?
Is it a normal behaviour that newly created taxonomies show this filter?
Is it an update you did?

    Thanks for your help.

    hi @dannesti

To be certain, you’re talking about filters like these?

    Hello.

    Thanks for your help!

    Yes, exactly.

I created – using CPT UI plugin – a new taxonomy and the filter for this taxonomy showed up automatically.

For another taxonomy, created in the same way, using the same plugin and used with the same Custom Post Type (Actions) but created more ore less a couple of years ago the filter never showed up.

I tried to look at taxonomy’s settings and I can’t see any difference…

I tried to set “Show admin column” also for ACTION DATES but didn’t change anything (in fact ACTION DATES is the taxonomy that has the filter…).

Curious if your active theme may be handling this, as I don’t think those dropdowns are created by default for taxonomies.
