  • Hi mrkapital,

Hard to say without more details, the URL looks correct: http://demo.wpmovielibrary.com/movies/year/2013/ is built identically and is working. Are you using a dedicated page to show movies? Any specific permalinks set?

I am using the german translation so it is:

    http://www.website.com/filme/Datum/1986/

For “actor”, “collection”, “genre” and “movies” I am able to change he permalinks in Settings – >Language->Permalinks
I was not able to find a setting for year.
    Wordpress Permalink is not custom.

It seems as if date is not added as a taxonomy like actors and genre?

Furthermore I get some layout Problem with the Grid:

I checked the other things like Language, Country and everything else is working fine.

There is just a problem with the date. Strange is also that it is the only one which is capitalized in the URL…

The grid issue is a compatibility issue with your theme; which one is that?

As for the links issue, the German translation is out of date, that may explain a part of the problem. Did you add some translation yourself?

I am using the Genesis Framework:
    http://my.studiopress.com/themes/genesis/

    With this Child theme:
    http://hunniemaid.com/shop/minimalista-pro-theme/

I changed the translation of Permalinks and now it works.

Which file do I have to edit to update the German translation? I could also send it to you when it is finished and working.

TO make it clear: Right now I deactivated the translation of Permalinks in settings. Nevertheless I would prefer to have them translated into german 🙂

There’s someone working on the German translation already, but I don’t know how far he’s got; anyways, you can use the current POT file from GitHub and edit it with Poedit.

I don’t know the Genesis framework, but if you can provide a URL for your site I’ll take a look at it, see how the menu can be fixed 🙂
