Reinstalled wordpress (local host) alongwith Ajaxy Live search about 2-3 times today, and the problem still persists.

Exactly the same problem.
Taxonomies are not displayed in the plug-in.
if follow the link shared by @el Tio Rufi then it shoes the taxonomies but there is no use if it because the search bar is not listing the results from taxonomy.
I have also email you about that but here I see that people are waiting for solution from past 4 months.

i have found something interesting.
if I follow the method shared by @el Tio Rufi and does not make any changes in taxonomies then it start working.
If I make any changes like Show/Hide then taxonomies stop working.
Reporting the same bug. El Tio Rufi’s solution worked well enough for me to get it working again. I found that instead of hiding them, go into the settings of each one you don’t want and set the limit results to 0 will have the same effect will get you around the bug.
Either way, I hope the bug gets fixed.
