taxonomy template

    Sorry if i sound really thick

    I have created 3 custom taxonomies. If i create a file called taxonomy.php should the 3 custom taxonomies use taxonomy.php as a default template or do i have to create a template for each taxonomy & its child?

    At the moment it keeps using index.php.
