Hi guys, if you have to fight against the spam attacks caused by the new update from cf7 with forcing you to use recaptcha V3, then simply use the rollback plugin. It allows you to install an earlier version. It could not be simplier.

I guess we all should wait for the next update from cf7 or check other plugins that make a better job.

Great thanks for that but then do we have to re-do all of the captcha keys again for version 2?

Uggg so much extra work if you have a lot of sites…

Yes unfortunately you have to re-add the V2 keys again. But I guess you don’t have to do it again afterwards because either they will give you the option to choose between V2 and V3 and then you’ll stick to V2 or you just don’t update for some time 😉

@fourwhitesocks There is an unofficial fix for this issue.

Warning though… this is an UNOFFICIAL FIX, so use it at your own risk. It works for me though (at least for now).

@fourwhitesocks Nothing else should change. I haven’t have the need to rebuild my forms on the sites that applied this fix. If you want to be careful, backup the site before making any change.
