The site is working with all the imported SQL data. I can make a new slide just fine. But when I goto pages and try to edit the SPLASH page just to change the link on the button there is nothing to edit. I have seen sample video where the editor shows the page content and mine has none. I got my template from GoDaddy.com promotion of TemplateMonster.com

Is there a file that will have the info in it that I can just go edit that file with Dreamweaver? This is something so simple to do but this is the first time I have used WordPress so I may be missing something but the editor is blank. When I hit View page on the Splash page it goes to the page I want to edit but doesn’t show any text or button that I want to change. I just want to change the words Basketball is our life and then the words and link on the button.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I can’t edit the Button Or the Text above it, check the links for a view of my panel and page. There should be something to edit and it is empty.

Ok I figured it out, this is the first WordPress blog I have worked on. Some pages create their page from other elements by getting News or Posts and putting them in Left Center or Right Position. The button I needed to reprogram was a small widget in the upper right hand corner of the appearance tab in the widgets section. I thought I had looked everywhere for it.
