1. How do i change the Bg color of the template.
2. Have very short descriptions of the articles in the homepage like in http://www.davesadventure.com.
3. How do i get the latest post, top posts and latest comments to show up in the homepage.
I use the latest version.

1. Edit the background-color property in your stylesheet (style.css), typically for the body declaration but it could be any element, depending on your needs.

Regarding the background, you also need to be aware of the presence of background images, as in the Kubrick (default) theme. If that’s the case, then you’ll actually have to recreate the background image in image editor.
