I think this could be related to the REST API. Do you use current version of WordPress?
You can try to go to your permalinks settings and just save them without any changes, this helps to regenerate the REST endpoint URLs sometimes

Did try the permalink settings update but unfortunately the problem is still there
Do you know how to access the JavaScript console of your browser and the PHP error log of your server?
Maybe one of them shows some details about the error.
The JavaScript shouldn’t be a problem since I use WordPress Email Template Designer – WP HTML Mail on a few other sites
And they are on the same server/webhotel (one.com) as the site I have the problem on so the PHP shouldn’t cause any problems
Some of the sites are almost identical but the main difference to the site where I have the problem is the plugin “Multilanguage by BestWebSoft”
This problem has sometimes caused problems that are solved with the permalinks settings action you mentioned above

How can I edit the body text?

The body comes from WordPress and other plugins, for example your contact form emails, password reset or your WooCommerce transactional emails.
This plugin is not for sending newsletters it is just for designing existing emails.
Content editing is only available for WooCommerce using our WooCommerce email customizer extension.

I’ve tried “everything” but the problem on the site is still there
Tried several browsers and different platforms but no luck
The mail I receive from the site are “working” but lacking the “design” in header, body & footer
I could set up a temporary user admin account in if you want to take a look

I fixed the problem. As stated above, saving the Permalink structure again fixed the issue.
I have also changed your WP URL from “http” to “https”, because it was causing errors, as you have SSL on your Domain.

But when I looked at it it was back to “normal” but this time the saving the Permalink structure again trick worked for me
I did try this solution several times prior but it didn’t work
BUT
Nothing I do shows up as being saved???
And thanks for the https – thought I already did it

could you create a test system and deactivate all other plugins one by one and try again.
I think it’s probably a conflict.
