• After installing the Solace theme and choosing the Flexi Web template, I noticed my Main Menu had changed and upon further investigation, I was correct, the template had written over my menu that I had built previously thinking that nothing would overwrite the WordPress core items. I guess I missed the warning that states, please do not attempt to use this template if you already have a pre-existing layout in WordPress because this will take control of every setting you have and you will have to go back and do everything all over again. That part would’ve been very helpful!

  • Hi,

You can still access your previous menu by following these steps (See: https://jumpshare.com/v/WrLgBA9KoM6inOANSyOj):

    1. In the WP Admin Area, go to the <strong class=””>”Appearance” menu.
    2. Then go to <strong class=””>”Menus”.
    3. Select your old menu from the dropdown.
    4. Click the <strong class=””>Select button.
    5. Check the <strong class=””>”Primary Menu” checkbox.
    6. Then click the <strong class=””>”Save Menu” button, and your old menu will appear again on the frontend.

    <strong class=””>Best Regards,
