Template pages

Currently I’m developing a new theme for my blog and was wondering if anyone could help me solve a small problem.

On my blog I have many pages “well over 30” and this can be a problem when designing a new theme. Is there any way to separate these pages?

Example: My archive page, about me, projects and gallery on top near the heather while all the other pages would stay on the side bar.

I don’t want the header pages to be displayed on the sidebar, so here is here the problem comes in. Displaying the selected pages on the header won’t be a problem what will is taking them away from the sidebar.
