• I’m using a custom template with the current version of NextGen gallery (v2.0.33). Apparently NextGen selects the template based on it’s absolute path name not a relative path. It then stores this absolute path in the database. Which means whenever the folders on the server change it doesn’t know where to find the custom template even tho nothing technically moved (wp-content/themes/custom-theme-name/nggallery/singlepic.php). This has happened to me twice now where I move servers or upgrade my current server and it breaks all of my images and requires me to reselect the custom theme. Is there anyway NextGen could load these templates a little smarter to prevent this from breaking in the future?

@austin Ginder – Just for clarification, nothing at all is changing except the hardware where your site is being hosted from and you see this issue?

Yep. That is correct. When I move my website to a new server the template says missing. Then it shows the old absolute path something like /var/www/webhost/cluster01/website/wp-content/themes/. This happens on this screen: http://note.io/17Gv6Ue.

I have a similar question/problem. When I switch to the final direction of the site under Dashboard > General Settings, everything is lost; Galleries are broken in pages, and absolutely white an disabled GG edit modal window.
This happens in two different websites, working with Ultimatum Framework 2.3.7 (ineslopezportfolio.com.ar) and 2.5.102 (http://artivista.com.ar/).
