• Hi Tobias,

Thanks for the plugin it looks like it is just the thing i have been looking for.
I have a couple of questions, is it possible to set up a table as a template to include in posts? I am starting a review website which will review similar products so the fields will always be the same.

Also is there any way of comparing the tables, so if users want to compare features on say mobile phones?

    Thanks
    Dan

    Hi Dan,

    thanks for your question.

There’s no direct feature like “templates”, but as you can copy tables easily, you could set up an empty table that you use as your template and then simply copy that whenever you want a new table.

Comparing things in a table is not possible, unfortunately. There are many features like sorting and pagination added by the DataTables JavaScript library, but comparision is not one of them. Sorry.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

    Hi Tobias,

I have a large database consisting of products with a set of features. If i create a table is it possible to import the database where wp table reloaded will then create a mini table for each product?

    Many thanks in advance

    Dan

    Hi,

no, that’s also not possible, sorry 🙁 The plugin simply was not designed as a “database frontend”. It will only read its custom table formats and display that.

If you already have that table, you are probably better off with a custom PHP/mySQL solution, which offers much more flexibility.

    Regards,
    Tobias
