I would like to see if there is another way of accomplishing this. I am using the documentation here to add the images to the widget view and placing this on various pages in my site. I had it working but my theme pushed out an update and this overwrites the files in the theme folder so it basically removes the changes I make. Is there another way of accomplishing this?

Hi @dljordaneku,

As far as I understand you tried to override template of plugin adding the changes to your theme. If it is so it is recommended to install Child Theme and add edited files to override parent theme and plugins there. Child Theme will keep all the changes as update affects Parent theme only.
