Template usage

I am having trouble with the data-table template. In settings, I was able to set “Search Result Template” to data-table and now my search results look like this.

I’d like my file list to look the same way. In “Manage Templates > File List” I set ‘Default’ to use the File Template ‘data-table’, this is what I get. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/123458713/on_list.png

What do I need to do to use the data-table template for my file list?
