Hi rpiket have you tried to disable all other plugins except this one and carried out another test?

Not yet. So I don’t need to install anything other than the original plugin? There isn’t a special extension to get the template1 version to work?

I am asking if there is something I need to install other than the standard sc player plug-in. The standard player allows the shortcode [sc-embed_player ] to work. Is there something else that needs to be installed to get the shortcode [sc-embed_player_template1] to work?

Does anyone associated with the plugin monitor these support forums???
Looks like the developer has lots of info here:

Don’t know about support – not all developers are able to provide free support on these forums.
Hi @rpiket did you read the URL @wpyogi posted above?

yes I had read that already.
I gave up. I am still using the original sc audio. For audio where I want a progress bar I am using the built-in WP one, which I previously wasn’t aware of.
It’s a shame the developer doesn’t support it’s product.
Thanks for the effort.
It doesn’t need anything special to be installed. It is likely conflicting with your theme.

I hadn’t thought of that. Thanks. I’m going to use the built-in WP audio plugin. It doesn’t seem to conflict and does what the template_1 does.
@rpiket is your issue resolved or do you still have problems?

Neither. I have gone in a different direction. Thanks.
