Temporary Translation

We are planning on getting all Spanish content for our website. For now, only the home page is written in Spanish. Is there any way to translate our other pages if we are translating from Spanish in the settings?

I see that the menu is properly translated, but the content is not (due to the setting set to translate from Spanish I believe.) Why is it that the menu translates properly but the content on other pages doesn’t? Is there a way to allow translation from Spanish to English and English to Spanish while this setting is set to translate from Spanish?
