• I want to be able to see my whole background. In other words, I have created my own background and I don’t want to be able to see it only as a border around a Foreground laying on top of it.

Is there a way to change the foreground to an image that I’ve created? I’m not sure if that makes any sense to anyone.

    Thanks,
    Bob

  • Hey.

I’m having a little difficulty in understanding your problem. Could you perhaps provide a URL to your site so that the forum volunteers can see a demonstration of what you’re describing.

Thank you for getting back to me,

Enclosed is a link to my site and as you can see I’ve changed the background to a black linen. What I want to do now is change the inner portion (white area) to an image that I created myself and start building the site from there. Can I do this?

Do not edit the Twenty Twelve theme. It is the current default WordPress theme and having access to an original, unedited, copy of the theme is vital in many situations. First create a child theme for your changes. Or install a custom CSS plugin.
