    A terrible plugin, at least for sales in Italy.

    It kept giving me an error message about unpaid taxes whenever I made a purchase on the site, preventing me from proceeding. What’s more, I was charged small amounts – even if only a few cents or tens of cents – for every action taken on the site, even when no one was making a purchase. That doesn’t seem quite right to me.

    A few things may be happening here:

    • The “unpaid taxes” message is usually caused by a tax setup/configuration issue, not by the customer being charged a tax penalty.
    • For stores selling in Italy, tax configuration can be more complex because of VAT rules, product tax classes, and location-based calculation settings.
    • Small charges/cents showing up during site activity are often related to Stripe Tax calculation requests or API usage during cart/checkout updates, address changes, or similar events — but we’d want to review your exact setup to confirm what’s happening.
