@rik0399 Thank you for sharing that! I suppose you’re pointing out the plugin didn’t really help. I’d like to know how you tested it and what settings were used before you did the tests. Installing the plugin without any unload rules will give you the results you just showed. It’s a page booster after all. The page speed score should be much higher, especially if you used Asset CleanUp together with a caching plugin.

PS: Are you comfortable sharing your website URL? I’d like to know more about the settings/rules you applied.

    Hi @gabelivan

Your welcome, I liked the plugin.

I thought by sharing my results may help you.

As you saw, I used Gamtrix at various stages.

If it helps, happy to share my wp login so you can test yourself – addy?

@rik0399 I’ll take the homepage as an example. The best way to test would be to unload as many CSS/JS files that are not needed, clear the cache (if you’re using a caching plugin such as WP Rocket), so the resulting cached files will reflect the changes made via Asset CleanUp (the minified/concatenated assets files will be smaller in size). Then, make sure to test the page speed.

According to ww.wp.xz.cn rules, asking for Dashboard credentials is not allowed, plus it involves some responsibility from my end. There are ways I could make tests without the need to log in. You can write to me in private and just share your website URL. I’m sure there are ways to improve the page speed score.

PS: Note that it’s not everything about the score (user experience is often more important), here’s an article that could help you out: https://wp-rocket.me/blog/the-truth-about-google-pagespeed-insights/

    Hi @gabelivan

Thank you for that, shame WP does not allow PM’s

I do like the plugin but unsure which is the best way to go to make this work for me 🙂

@rik0399 My website is on the ww.wp.xz.cn profile so you can reach me out at https://gabelivan.com/contact/ – What’s the biggest challenge you have with the plugin? Not knowing what CSS/JS files to unload? Did you find it difficult to use?
