    I am using Snappy Mail outside of WordPress on an Ubuntu server, and here it works fine for both sending and receiving emails.

    However, when I try to connect SMTP through a WordPress plugin and enter the account information correctly, and open ports 25, 587, and 465 for outbound connections in the firewall, the issue still persists.

    I have also registered DMARC and SPF.

    Despite all this, I am still getting a “Timed Out” error as shown in the screenshot.

    What steps can I take to resolve this?

    Thanks for reaching out! When you get a chance, please click on the “view full error log” button in the screenshot you shared. Copy the complete error log and submit it to your email provider for further assistance.

    Timeout errors can also be related to your email server or hosting provider. You should reach out to your hosting support and share the details of the timeouts you are experiencing. They will be able to investigate the issue further and provide necessary assistance.

    In the meantime, you may configure an alternative mailer on your site.
