Hello @margrietburorader,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
When you set your site to be in dutch, you will only see the testimonials written in dutch. Please click on ” show all languages” to see all of the testimonials.
If you still have this issue, it might be caused by a plugin or your theme.
I recommend installing this plugin: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/health-check/
After you install and activate the above plugin it has a Troubleshooting mode which allows you to have a vanilla WordPress session, where all plugins are disabled, and a default theme is used, but only for your user – your visitors will still see the normal website.
Go to its troubleshoot mode and only activate Strong Testimonials and see if it works correctly with a default WordPress theme (Twenty Twenty-One for example) and no other plugins.
Please let me know how it goes and what you find!
Warm regards,
Beatrice.

Hi Beatrice,
Many thanks for your reply. In the troubleshooting mode I can see the 10 testimonials which is already a relieve – I did not loose them completely!
But when activiting WPML Multilingual CMS plugin I again only see 5 testimonials.
No problems found…
Kind regards,

Hello @margrietburorader,
It is most probably that you see only the ones in the language you selected.
Please see a screenshot here where you need to go and set ‘All languages’.
Warm regards,
Beatrice.

Hi,
The only thing I can imagine is that when switching from Polylang to WPML (before having started adding any French text) something went wrong and that 5 of the testimonials did maybe not have language information.
Because I want to go forward with the website, I have copied the texts from the missing tutorials (visible in the troubleshooting mode) and am adding them again, which works.
Many thanks anyway.

Hi @margrietburorader,
I’m happy to hear that you managed to solve this! Thank you very much for letting us know! I’m very sorry for all of the trouble!
Warm regards,
Beatrice.
I had the same issue with both testimonials and WPML plugin installed.
I found the answer in the WPML support forum:
https://wpml.org/forums/topic/posts-disappear-when-the-plugin-is-activated/
The fix for me was to go to the WPML Support page, click the troubleshooting link, and then click the Set Language Information button.
