testimonials doesnt rotate

hi there
i have a theme that uses “prettyphoto” plugin
when i cancel the wp_register_script and- wp_enqueue_script of jquery.prettyPhoto.js
the testimonilas slider stop rotating for some reason! i dont use images in my testimonials only text.
is there a way to fix this?
