• We created a page called “Testimonials” and the testimonials were inserted on this page, automatically, without any input from us. That means when we throw the shortcode in there to try and control the various arguments, it just ignores them and continues displaying them however the default is. I assume if we do it with another name/slug, it’ll allow us to input a shortcode. But really, we’d prefer the permalink to match the name of the page.

    Here’s the page in question: http://expressplumbingidaho.com/testimonials/ I added some CSS to create a column layout, but really we’d like to do that with the shortcode.

  • You can put the shortcode in a page and it will work but the page permalink can not be “testimonials” or it will conflict with the plugin archive page. Change your page permalink and it will work.

    Yes. I can see that. As I mentioned above, we’d really like to have the permalink for the page be the same as the page name: it’s testimonials not a single testimonial. The plugin should allow a way to override this, or look for the shortcode in the page, 1st, before taking over any page named “Testimonails”.
