Testing WP 5.5 update

    Hi,

    I would like to test the wordpress 5.5 update on my staging site, but I just wanted to check, if I run the update on the staging site will it also update live or are they 2 completely separate entities even when updating wordpress versions?

    These are two total separate instances. So you can update WordPress on your staging site without any issues.
