Text ad plug in auto update error

    I tried installing WP-Text Ads by Choo. but it looks dead for many versions. And this morning I noticed that it shows up as a plugin update
    There is a new version of WP Text Ads widget available. Download version 1.2.1.20070210b here or upgrade automatically.

    For the main plugin and its widget add-on. Thats funny because those two plugins both point to a different plugin Sidebar Widgets

    Anyone know of a working plugin for text ads? I am looking into it for http://www.newyorkit.com – I always default back to just Google, but always willing to try new revenue options on sites

    I’m going to pump this one up to the top. I discovered Wp Text Ads and i am trying to update install the free version on WP 2.8.

    It seems to not be working well. The plugin is supposed to automatically create a database table, but gives me an error has occurred message. I’m not getting any feedback from a message i send the owner on his contact page.

    Is reading this using WP-Text Ads? Know of a good alternative?

    Your help is appreciated.
