Hi Rick,

First of all, thanks for the amazing plugin!

I think my question is quite simple, but I’m still learning how the art of programming and I didn’t get what I’m looking for…

I’m trying to insert some text before and after the voting-buttons, as in the example below:

Do you like this post?
[Button Vote Up] [Button Vote Down]
You can also leave a comment

Do you have any hints for me? I know, that insert text via CSS requires CSS2, which requires CSS2 capable browsers, but my text should be visible in every browser…

Hi there,

It depends on what method are you using: http://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/thumbs-rating/installation/

With A and C just place the text before and after the code.

For the B method, well, easy:
```
function thumbs_rating_print($content)
{
    return $content."bla bla bla" . thumbs_rating_getlink() . " more bla bla bla";
}
add_filter('the_content', 'thumbs_rating_print');
```
