text below footer

i spent the last hour trying to get a textured image to appear as the background of my footer. i finally got it working by editing the stylesheet.css i added the lines

background-image: url(‘http://sussexbaptist.byethost7.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/Woven-Footer.jpg’);
}

the texture is there now but there is text below the footer that reads the same as the code i am using
