    Hello there!

Just started using the plugin and already have found it great. I have only one concern.

The plugin adds a comment to every cached file. I don’t mind the comment with the name of the plugin, but it is not correct to add the comment outside the HTML tags.

In the aftermath Google Search Console prompts me an error on AMP sites.

  • Hi @romancieciuch,

You are referring to the comment on top of the page source with page caching, is that correct?
Can you tell me what error do you see in Google Search Console, perhaps grab a screenshot?

    Cheers,

Oh, my bad. Sorry to provide wrong information. I hadn’t seen the red highlighted code by Google Search Console.

What I see now is that GSC has a problem with <noscript>. Maybe it is because of nesting <noscript> in <noscript>. I have translated the title of the issue for you and put a proposition of a good code structure. Please see the enclosed image: https://prnt.sc/qftn02

I do have set up lazy loading in Humming Bird, so I believe this is your part of code.

Please let me know what you think.
    Thank you.

    Hi Roman,

    Thanks for the additional info.
Hummingbird doesn’t have Lazy Load option but our Smush plugin does, so I’ve tested it with AMP and I was able to replicate the issue.

I also found an existing report for this and it’s something our devs are preparing a patch for with 3.4 Smush release they are currently working on.

So if Smush is what you’re using the issue will be fixed soon 🙂

    Cheers,
