    I initially used your plugin to change out of stock item text ‘OUT OF STOCK’ to ‘AVAILABLE SEPT. 1ST’ and it worked great.

    However we need to change it back. I first deleted the entry in your plugin and that did not work. I then put in a new entry from ‘AVAILABLE SEPT. 1ST’ to ‘OUT OF STOCK’ and cleared the cache, however it’s still showing ‘AVAILABLE SEPT. 1ST’.

    I then tried deactivating the plug with no success of it switching the text back. Can you please advise?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi;

    Once you delete the replacement, then Say What? will stop swapping the text.

    If you’re still seeing a replacement after removing it then either you have some form of caching in place which means you’re seeing a copy of the page generated when the replacement was still active, or the string was used as an initial value for something that was subsequently “saved” in the database. So, although the replacement is no longer happening through Say What? something on your site is now configured to use “Available Sept. 1st” instead of the “out of stock” string.

    It’s almost impossible to say what that might be without a detailed investigation of your site. I’d suggest reviewing plugin / theme settings and check that the string isn’t configured there, or against the product itself.
