    Hello

I uploaded today for the first time my wordpress folder from local to online on my server to check if the website looks good.

All the text i changed are set to default and i have no idea why? Also the images like logo etc. disappeared and Zerif logo is back. Other stuff all works fine like normal. As example i added some Testimonials and also they are set to default again.

Can someone please help me why this happens? I have exported and imported the sql file from local wordpress. Also i tryed to make an xml file from tools and imported it too but also didn’t helped. Im trying to fix this problem since 6 hours and i have no idea more what i do wrong. I would be very glad if someone can help me with this. Local everything is fine.

    Thanks alot…

  • Probably you did not copy the database content to the server.

Would suggest to install and use a Plugin like Duplicator on the local server to duplicate (and adjust paths etc.) the local installation to the online installation.

This is most likely a general issue, not specific to Zerif Lite.

    Hello

    Thanks for your Answer.

I have tryed the Duplicator plugin like 3 times and the text is still set to default. Now at once the top bar where the logo is changed from white color to black and i have changed nothing more on the theme?

I think i will try to uninstall everything again..and i hope that it will work then..i can’t understand why on local it’s good and not on server. Now i really hoped it will work with duplicator but not even with that :/

Edit: I just noticed that this happens only on the child-theme. On the parent Theme the original one if i do any changes they will be oline.

But why locally the child theme is fine but not online? What im missing? I did only the css file enqueue with functions.
