Text link to lightbox

    HI – I am wondering if it is possible to link to the gallery lightbox via text?

    I dont want to use the thumbnail to open the light box but rather click on “VIEW WORK” and it open the lightbox with all of the gallery items in it.

    Is this possible?

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    Please try the following:
    Add gallery to the page with a shortcode and add this html:

    <span onclick=”bwg_gallery_box( jQuery( ‘.bwg_lightbox’ ).attr( ‘data-image-id’ ), jQuery( ‘.bwg_lightbox’).closest( ‘.bwg_container’ ) );”>View work</span>
    <style>.bwg-background {display: none;}</style>

    Hi – Thanks for the reply. So your solution does work for the first gallery (The water series) that I want to add the the page. But for this website I have a series of different galleries each with a different lightbox gallery that I need to add.

    When you visit the site you will see that the first section “The water series” works – the Lightbox pops up when you click “View work”

    So then I tried the second section “the gold series” and it did not open “The gold series” lightbox gallery when you clicked “View Work” – any thoughts on how to how to make this work?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

    HI – I am really stuck here – could you please tell me where to add the HTML? Also is there a way to add multiple light boxes to a single page? Please see my above comment.

    There are no links added to the “view work”, no online action here: : http://annemuller.wpengine.com/

    Can we please have a screenshot with the gallery setup you have in the back?
