Text not saving in sidebar widget

    Hi.

    I installed the widgets plugin and everything was working fine in June. I had a few text widgets up and running. I came back from vacation and they were gone. When I went to add them again they won’t save. It doesn’t matter if it’s html or plain text – it won’t save.

    I don’t even have to leave the widgets page of the admin panel – it simply wipes out.

    I have also cleared cache and cookies which didn’t help. This is happening on any computer I try and in both IE6 and Firefox.

    All other widgets seem to be functioning correctly.

    Any ideas? Thanks!

    I hate to bump this but I am completely baffled.

    Am I the only one experiencing this?

    I encountered the same problem after transfer to a new host. The only solution I found was to remove in the database the content of ‘option_value’ for the row ‘widget_text’ in table ‘wp_options’ and then recreate all my text widgets, and it works now !!!
