OK, so this thing comes as a free install on my WP new install. I kinda dont like it…. hard to use, no support etc… But fine. Now here is my first issue right from the beginning, there is text over the video, but the text is HUGE and doesn’t look right on mobile. Is there any way to use this with mobile and adjust this ridiculous text size on mobile devices?

  • Hi,

Yes, Elementor has responsive options for desktop, tablet and mobile so it looks great on all of them. Did you take the time to learn how to use it?

Where have you asked for support and did not get it I wonder, because when I look at your profile, this seems to be the first call for help?

Elementor does not come automatically with a free wordpress install, you have to actively add the plugin. What theme are you using, perhaps you bought a theme that has Elementor build into it ( not a good idea if you ask me)?

None of the information in the link was helpful. I need to edit the text so it is reasonably sized. This should be default, I find it ludicrous it is not. But ok, fine, someone wanted to make this as difficult as possible. Let’s just fix it.

There is no way I can find in hours of searching and reading to make the text appear in different sizes on mobile so it is not ridiculously large. Can you, if it is possible to do, just tell me how to make the text smaller on mobile. Or let me know that isn’t possible so I stop looking for a solution?

    Hello,

Actually the link to the video shows how to do it: https://docs.elementor.com/article/68-mobile-editing

The text is not by default adjusted, to give us the freedom to make it look as we want it to look on mobile devices actually.

Could you share the url where this is happening, so I can have a better idea o what you are encountering please?

I think you mean you have a video as a background, text elements over it, and you want to shrink the text when it goes to smaller screens right?

I have a test site here that I think is what you mean:
    https://logologics.nl/kok/

As you resize the page, you will see the text over my video resizes with smaller screens.
Again, maybe you have another issue, at least, providing the url would be very helpfull to try and help you?

Actually this let´s you know what you should do/provide to get the best help possible: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/please-read-before-you-post-an-issue/

Such a useless endeavor this was on my part…….

The design of these things, it’s really like it is just to make it as difficult as possible, a sort of job creator. Why doesn’t anyone make a simple, easy to use, out of the box WP plug in. It boggles the mind.

    Hi,

    Sorry, it feels that way.
I can only say, I love it and is the easiest pagebuilder I tried out over the years to be honest. It has over 3000 5 stars in reviews so there must be something good going on…. I notice you never provide more info as asked to get the help you need?

    Why is that?

Did you watch the video? What is the url?
I really love to help you, but if you do not provide more info or watch the video’s, I am affraid this wont work…
