Create a text slideshow. Set the text to e.g. h2 rather than the default div. Hit save – and the saved slideshow uses h2. However, the settings revert back to div, so you have to remember to change the element type on every edit/save.

Hi, are you having problems saving your settings? If you are can you try the following, disable all your other plugins except this one. Then carry out another test.

Hi,

I’m also having this problem. Did you find a solution?

I wonder would it be that plugin V2.3.1 hasn’t been updated to latest WP version which I’m using, 4.6.1?

I tried activating all my plugins but still same problem.

Hi, yes I think it is a bug. But that is something the developers needs to look at. You can read more about this issue in the following thread.

I note that the other thread is 10 months old and the issue still doesn’t seem to have been resolved.

In the meantime I’ve changed to another Slideshow plugin.
